Guangzhou XAG Co., Ltd.: Agricultural Drones and Ground Robotics
XAG supplies agricultural drones, ground rovers and connected farm systems. Compare P150 Max modules, R Series workflows, a Vietnamese orchard case and procurement requirements.
XAG's agricultural robotics scope
XAG supplies agricultural drones, ground rovers, vehicle guidance and connected farm equipment. Its official portfolio addresses field operations across crops and growing environments. The company's English website terms identify Guangzhou XAG Co., Ltd. This profile focuses on agricultural automation rather than general industrial material handling.
Current drone families and regional configurations
The international drone lineup includes P150 Max, P150 and P60. These models and their task systems have different capacities and operating requirements. Domestic Chinese names and model-year packages should not be assumed equivalent to the international versions.
The P150 Max supports spraying, spreading, field mapping and farm transport with the corresponding equipment. Its published maximum payload is 80 kg, but configuration and operating conditions affect that limit. The RevoSpray 5 system's standard nozzle setup and optional four-nozzle kit have different flow specifications. Ask which hardware is included in the proposal.
Task modules and ground rovers are separate choices
RevoCast handles granular materials, while RevoSling is a separate lifting and transport module. Material characteristics and mission setup matter: a spreading rate measured with a test fertilizer does not predict all seeds or other granules. Single-battery P150 Max operation also has lower load limits, as stated in the product-page notes.
XAG's 28 November 2025 R Series announcement distinguishes the compact R100 for densely planted crops from the larger R200 for orchards and vineyards. These ground platforms navigate crop rows and use their own spraying arrangements. Their capacities, terrain limits and route setup must be evaluated independently of the drones.
Planning, positioning and field integration
XAG describes the One app, SRC controllers and RTK equipment as parts of its operating ecosystem. The P150 Max integrates field mapping into its workflow. Buyers should establish how boundaries, obstacles, crop areas and application settings are prepared, reviewed and transferred to the machine.
Confirm the delivered firmware and regional feature availability. P150 Max's product notes identify PPP-AR positioning as a future update; it should not be treated as an available substitute for RTK without written confirmation. Include connectivity, accounts, data export, offline procedures and operator training in the deployment plan.
A Vietnamese orchard provides a dated application reference
In a 24 May 2025 report, XAG described Nguyen Van Huong's use of a P150 on his farm in Tien Giang, Vietnam. The account says he purchased the drone in late 2024 and used it for crop protection in a durian orchard, replacing a labour-intensive spraying process involving a boat and handheld equipment.
This named use case concerns P150, not P150 Max or an R Series rover. Reported changes are the farmer's experience under those conditions. A buyer should validate coverage, application quality, labour and refill requirements on the intended crop rather than import the article's savings estimates.
Evaluate agronomic results and operating constraints
A field trial should use representative crop height, canopy density, terrain and target application rates. Measure the complete operation, including refilling, battery changes, movement between plots and cleanup. Maximum flight speed or pump flow alone cannot establish hectares completed per working day.
Document field boundaries, overhead obstacles and safe loading areas.
Check deposition or distribution against the intended agricultural task.
Test interruption, return and restart procedures with trained operators.
Confirm local flight permissions and permitted product applications with the responsible local parties.
Purchase scope, service and regional availability
Request separate line items for the aircraft or rover, task modules, batteries, charging equipment, controllers, positioning equipment and training. Ask whether commissioning, seasonal service and replacement wear parts are available locally. Confirm the importing and selling entities, warranty conditions and process for software support.
XAG's 7 February 2026 US introduction demonstrates a regional product launch; it does not establish approval or immediate stock in every country. Use the official contact route to obtain the current regional configuration and service proposal.
