Company Profile: ENGINEAI
A profile of ENGINEAI's humanoid robotics business, distinguishing PM01 editions, developer access, a dated Hong Kong event appearance, and the requirements for a controlled commercial pilot.
Company and current identity
ENGINEAI is a Shenzhen robotics business offering humanoid and legged platforms. Its privacy policy dated August 19, 2026 identifies the Chinese corporate name as Shenzhen's Zhongqing robotics joint-stock company. International buyers should obtain the registered contracting name and its official English rendering in the proposal, particularly when comparing documents issued at different stages of the company's development.
Portfolio and model selection
The current product catalogue includes PM01, SE01 and T800 humanoid platforms alongside other designs, including the JS01 quadruped. These products should not be treated as interchangeable. Begin with the task and operating environment, then identify the model, edition, software and accessories needed to evaluate it. A public catalogue does not establish stock, delivery timing or the readiness of a particular application.
PM01 edition differences
The current PM01 page distinguishes 2026 Education and Navigation editions. Both list secondary development support, while the Navigation configuration lists 3D LiDAR and the Education configuration does not. This is a useful procurement distinction: sensing, computing and user interfaces must be checked against the exact quoted edition rather than assembled from different specification tables.
Development access and integration
ENGINEAI's PM01 material links training and deployment code repositories and describes a ROS deployment framework. Buyers should examine the actual software release, license, supported interfaces and update process before budgeting an integration project. Access to development tools does not mean that a finished warehouse, inspection or customer-service application is included. Assign responsibility for application code, model updates and field support explicitly.
A dated public-use example
In an article published April 10, 2026, ENGINEAI reported PM01's hosting role at an awards ceremony held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on January 29, 2026. The event date and publication date are different. This demonstrates a supplier-reported event application; it does not establish an unattended, sustained industrial deployment or general approval for public-space operation.
Designing a controlled pilot
Choose one measurable task and document the human assistance it permits. A useful demonstration records task completion, intervention frequency, recovery time and the conditions under which the robot must stop. Include crowding, lighting, floor transitions and unexpected objects only within an agreed test plan and the supplier's operating limits.
Separate locomotion capability from manipulation and task reasoning. Walking, greeting or performing a choreographed movement cannot establish the ability to handle a buyer's objects reliably. Budget staff time for setup, supervision, charging and recovery when assessing practical value.
Commercial and international contact
The official contact page separates purchase inquiries from after-sales support and provides a Shenzhen address. An overseas brief should state the destination, intended use, required language and technical team capability. Request written confirmation of export availability, local documentation, spare parts, battery transport arrangements and service response for the specific platform.
Questions before ordering a humanoid
Which edition, sensors, software and application functions are included?
What developer access and commercial-use rights accompany delivery?
How much supervision does the proposed task require?
What tests, recovery procedures and support commitments govern acceptance?
