Nexaro: Commercial Vacuum Robots and HUB Fleet Management
Compare Nexaro NR 1500 and NR 1700 vacuum robots, HUB licence choices and the JobRad office reference, with practical checks for multi-floor cleaning operations.
Company and cleaning focus
Nexaro GmbH is based in Wuppertal, Germany, and belongs to the Vorwerk Group. Its commercial cleaning offer combines compact autonomous vacuum robots with Nexaro HUB management software. The relevant purchasing decision is how the robots fit into a cleaning contractor's daily service, including preparation, supervision and consumable replacement. Vorwerk company overview.
NR 1500 and NR 1700
The NR 1500 product page specifies a maximum cleaning area of 400 m², while the NR 1700 page specifies 1,000 m² and positions that model for larger commercial areas. These figures describe the respective products; they are not guaranteed hourly productivity. Nexaro presents both carpet and hard-floor vacuuming applications. Match the proposed model to the actual floor finish, room layout, accessible area and available operating window. NR 1500; NR 1700.
HUB licences and operating scope
HUB Pro.Multi supports fleet management, multiple cleaning areas, reporting and planning. The current licence comparison also lists unlimited Drop & Go use under Pro.Single, so a simple one-robot versus many-robot distinction is insufficient. Confirm the functions attached to the purchased plan, account roles, renewal terms and access to historical reports. The reviewed NR 1700 bundle includes 36 months of Pro.Multi; this should not be treated as a lifetime subscription. HUB licence comparison.
Named office reference
Nexaro's JobRad case describes a Freiburg office deployment with cleaning provider SAN2GO: 33 vacuum robots serving 16,000 m², managed through HUB and scheduled between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. This is a supplier-published customer account. Its layout and night-time access conditions matter when comparing another office, and the account does not establish a universal staffing reduction or payback period. JobRad case study.
Site survey and daily work
Record thresholds, carpet transitions, loose cables, movable chairs, glass partitions and areas that must remain excluded. Identify who opens rooms, relocates equipment between floors and clears unexpected obstructions. Include dust-bin emptying, filter care, brush inspection and charger placement in the operating plan. A short demonstration on an empty floor should be followed by a trial using the actual furniture and occupancy pattern.
Connectivity and service questions
Ask the regional supplier to confirm connectivity coverage, account administration, report exports and what happens when communication is interrupted. Specify response times for a stopped robot, access to replacement batteries and filters, and responsibility for map changes. Establish whether installation, training, remote assistance and software renewal are included in the proposal or charged separately.
Pilot acceptance and comparison
Compare completed usable area, visible residual debris, intervention minutes, missed zones and cleaning-window completion over representative shifts. Count the time spent moving and servicing each device. Test recovery from an obstructed route and an unavailable dock. Expand the fleet only after the contractor and building operator agree that cleaning quality, reporting and daily workload meet the written acceptance criteria.
Sources and enquiry preparation
Primary sources were reviewed on 11 September 2026. Product, licence and customer-reference details are attributed to Nexaro and Vorwerk; local availability and the final commercial scope require confirmation. Prepare a floor plan, floor-finish schedule, operating hours, floor-to-floor handling plan and required reporting fields before requesting a configuration. About Nexaro.
