CITIC HIC Kaicheng Intelligence Equipment Co., Ltd.: Special Robotics
CITIC HIC Kaicheng supplies inspection, firefighting and mining robots. Review system architectures, a Wengfu operating case, optional functions and procurement boundaries.
CITIC HIC Kaicheng's industrial robotics scope
CITIC HIC Kaicheng Intelligence Equipment Co., Ltd. develops special-purpose robots and mining equipment. Its official English company overview describes research, manufacturing, sales and service across these areas. For buyers, the relevant distinction is between emergency-response equipment, routine inspection systems and mining process automation.
Define the actual task before selecting a platform. A firefighting robot, a rail-mounted inspection unit and a fixed sorting arm solve different problems and require different supporting infrastructure.
Firefighting and reconnaissance product families
The English product center lists firefighting, smoke-removal, reconnaissance and wheeled inspection robots. The RXR-MC80JD page describes a crawler platform with a remotely operated monitor, video transmission and cooling functions. It marks environmental detection and thermal detection as optional functions.
Confirm the exact model and revision because Chinese and English listings use differing model labels. Specify the extinguishing medium, water supply, hose arrangement, controls and transport equipment. A displayed zero-price catalog placeholder is not a commercial offer.
Inspection architecture and environmental suitability
Kaicheng's mining rail-inspection system combines a robot, base station, rail infrastructure and workstation. Sensors can collect visual, acoustic, thermal and environmental information along the route. This is an installed inspection system, not simply a freely navigating robot placed in a mine.
The company separately lists a general rail-mounted version for non-explosive locations. These configurations must not be treated as interchangeable. Request the precise protection markings, certificates, permitted environment and approved sensor assembly for the offered equipment. A product-family description does not establish suitability for every hazardous area or jurisdiction.
Wengfu phosphate mine provides a dated operating case
In a 22 April 2026 report, Kaicheng described a rail-mounted robot entering service at a processing plant within Guizhou Phosphate Group's Wengfu phosphate mine. Its task was inspection of the No. 8 belt conveyor. The report describes checks for belt alignment, abnormal roller sounds, electrical-joint temperatures and other operating conditions.
The plant and conveyor context are specified, but the article does not identify every equipment revision. Treat it as evidence of an application at that site. Its route length and detection functions are not universal specifications for all Kaicheng inspection robots.
Data integration must connect findings to maintenance
The Wengfu account describes connection to the mine's existing centralized production-management platform and graded alerts through WeCom. This illustrates the importance of the data workflow as well as the robot. A procurement specification should define equipment identifiers, alarm values, thresholds, timestamps and the staff responsible for acknowledgement.
Ask how raw images, thermal records and measurements can be reviewed and exported. Establish calibration, time synchronization, connectivity and retention requirements. Test missed communications, repeated alarms and recovery after interruption. Automated detection should lead to a traceable inspection or maintenance decision.
Trials and acceptance should reproduce site conditions
Prepare the actual route, inspection-point list and operating schedule. Evaluate lighting, dust, moisture, heat, obstructions and communications along the proposed installation. For a rail system, include supports, cable routing, access for maintenance and recovery of a stopped unit. For firefighting equipment, assess the complete robot, hose and supply arrangement.
Demonstrate detection on representative equipment and known abnormal conditions.
Measure inspection coverage, false alarms and data completeness.
Test communication loss, emergency stopping and retrieval procedures.
Agree how sensor calibration and planned maintenance affect availability.
Commercial scope and technical documentation
Request an itemized proposal covering the robot, sensors, control station, communications, supporting infrastructure, software integration, training and spares. Identify which features are standard and which are separately engineered options. Establish responsibility for installation and for verification of the assembled application.
Ask for current manuals, regional support arrangements and the applicable inspection or protection documents before contract award. Do not infer overseas approvals from a Chinese catalog description. Use the official English contact page for a site-specific technical discussion and quotation.
Prepare an inspection or emergency-response brief
Provide the site type, environment, task sequence, route drawings, required measurements and existing control platforms. Browse Inspection & Maintenance Robotics, Write a Robotics Buyer Brief, or define equipment and integration requirements in a Robotics RFQ.
