HIKROBOT: Mobile Robots and Integrated Factory Logistics
Review HIKROBOT mobile robot families, iWMS and RCS coordination, the FAW Jiefang J7 factory reference, and requirements for integrated material handling.
Company and directory scope
HIKROBOT supplies machine vision products and mobile robotic systems. Its official website identifies the business as Hikrobot Co., Ltd. This profile covers factory and warehouse logistics; the presence of a separate vision portfolio does not mean every mobile robot includes the same cameras or inspection functions. The company is recorded once in the Mobile & Logistics Robots category.
Robot families and software
The mobile robotics portfolio presents LMR, FMR, CTU and CMR/HMR families alongside accessories and platform software. It also lists PlantMirror for three-dimensional logistics simulation. These are different equipment choices, not interchangeable names for one vehicle. Select a robot against the actual load carrier and handoff operation before comparing fleet size or headline performance.
Coordinating the material flow
HIKROBOT describes solutions combining AMRs with iWMS-1000, RCS-2000 and other automation equipment. The practical buying unit is therefore a workflow: receiving a material request, locating the carrier, assigning transport, completing the handoff and reporting the result. Ask the supplier to identify which software owns inventory, dispatch and exception recovery in the proposed installation.
FAW Jiefang application evidence
The official J7 smart-factory case describes cooperation with FAW Jiefang from 2021. HIKROBOT reports deployment of more than 200 AMRs together with automated conveyors, integration with logistics execution systems, and elevator handoffs for movement between floors. Customized chassis and fixtures supported assembly-related work. This is a supplier-reported project reference; its scope does not establish the configuration or throughput of a new quotation.
Define the carrier and transfer point
For a comparable proposal, provide loaded and empty carrier dimensions, weight distribution, fork or lift engagement points, and the range of floor and station heights. Identify stations that need conveyors, fixtures or human assistance. Include damaged-carrier handling and empty-carrier return. A successful route demonstration alone leaves these material interfaces unresolved.
Plan acceptance around exceptions
Buyer evaluation should include a blocked intersection, an unavailable elevator, a rejected handoff and a temporary loss of task communication. Record how staff identify the affected load and resume the correct order. Agree the permitted manual interventions and the evidence needed to close each exception. Measure completed deliveries and queue delays during representative production demand, including charging periods.
Procurement and ongoing support
Request a bill of materials that separates vehicles, chargers, stations, integration work and software licences. Clarify responsibility for map changes, host-system updates, local servicing and replacement parts. Use the named factory case to ask about comparable interfaces and commissioning experience, rather than applying its reported efficiency improvements to your own facility. Pricing and delivery commitments require a project-specific offer.
Sources and review boundary
