YOUIBOT: Lifting AMRs and Semiconductor Material Handling
Assess YOUIBOT L300 lifting robots, OW12 semiconductor handling, YOUIFLEET dispatching, and the distinction between a transport platform and a complete equipment interface.
Company background
YOUIBOT develops mobile robots and software for industrial material handling. JETRO reported on 11 April 2025 that the company was founded in Shenzhen in 2017 and established Youibot Robotics Japan K.K. in Tokyo in October 2024. That report supports the stated expansion history; it does not establish the present service coverage or legal contracting entity for every market.
L300 lifting robot
The official L300 data sheet describes a 300 kg mobile platform with a lifting and rotating top module. It specifies up to 60 mm elevation and 360-degree module rotation. Listed maximum travel speed differs between unloaded and fully loaded operation: 1.5 m/s and 1.0 m/s respectively. These platform figures should not be treated as completed deliveries per hour.
Carrier docking and fleet operation
The L300 sheet describes LiDAR SLAM navigation, a carrier docking camera and QR-assisted carrier engagement. Its stated positioning accuracy relies on QR codes or cooperating reflectors. YOUIFLEET is presented as the dispatching system. The advertised fleet capacity is a software claim, not evidence that a particular customer operates that number of robots. Confirm supported vehicle versions and the proposed task interface.
Semiconductor handling scope
YOUIBOT's semiconductor site describes transport between stockers, buffers and production equipment. Its OW12 platform targets 12-inch FOUP/FOSB handling, with four storage positions and automated loading and unloading. This is a dedicated semiconductor offering, distinct from the L300 carrier-lifting platform. The site lists cleanroom performance for the semiconductor equipment; do not transfer that claim to every YOUIBOT robot.
Match the robot to the process
A semiconductor proposal needs more than a route map. Ask for the exact carrier standard, equipment handoff height, alignment method, permitted vibration and contamination requirements for the selected configuration. Identify who supplies the equipment communication and mechanical interface. For general factory logistics, provide trolley or shelf drawings and the condition of the underside that the robot must engage.
Acceptance questions for buyers
Run representative loaded transfers, including a blocked destination, a carrier that cannot be recognized and a production tool temporarily unavailable. Check how the work order is retained, retried or returned to an operator. Record both task completion and manual recovery time. Include shifts with realistic charging demand so a short demonstration does not conceal a capacity shortfall.
Commercial and support boundaries
Separate the vehicle, top module, production-equipment interface, fleet software and commissioning services in the quotation. Confirm local spare-parts access, response times, software maintenance and ownership of configuration files. The Japanese subsidiary announcement is useful context for a service discussion, but it is not a service-level agreement. No named semiconductor customer deployment is asserted from the product pages reviewed here.
Sources and review boundary
Reviewed 11 September 2026: JETRO's dated Japan expansion report, YOUIBOT L300 data sheet and official semiconductor solutions. Undated catalogue figures require confirmation against the offered model and current technical documentation.
