Site Readiness Checklist Before a Robot Arrives
Floor, power, air, network and access checks that prevent a stalled installation week.
Physical readiness
- Floor flatness and load rating verified for the cell base and any crane path.
- Clearance for maintenance access behind and above the robot, not just the working side.
- Delivery route measured: door widths, turning radii, forklift capacity and lift height.
Utilities

People and process
Name the operators, the maintenance technician and the safety officer before installation. A robot that arrives without a named owner spends its first month being unboxed by whoever is available. Agree the run-in hours, the shift pattern for the trial and who can stop the cell.
Hand this checklist to the integrator as a document, not a conversation. Anything not on paper becomes a change order.
