TechMagic: I-Robo 2 Stir-Fry Robots and Kitchen Automation
Explore TechMagic's I-Robo 2 stir-fry workflow, installation needs, human cleaning tasks and published deployment evidence for international kitchen research.
TechMagic develops cooking and kitchen-workflow automation in Japan. Its I-Robo 2 is directly relevant to stir-fry research: it controls heat and pan movement, rather than transporting finished dishes. This profile summarizes manufacturer-published information reviewed on 8 September 2026.
Company overview
The official company page identifies TechMagic Inc., established on 1 February 2018. Its headquarters is at Telecom Center Building West Tower 19F, 2-5-10 Aomi, Koto-ku, Tokyo 135-0064, Japan. It also lists a development location in Nagoya. These are supplier-published details, not an independent registry verification.
I-Robo 2 stir-fry workflow
The English product page describes control of induction heat and the speed and direction of independently moving pan and spatula mechanisms. Examples include fried rice, fried noodles and tomato with egg. Automatic pan washing is part of the described workflow.
The Japanese product FAQ describes ingredient loading before automated cooking, a Japanese/English touch interface and browser-based recipe setup. It also specifies daily human cleaning of the residue receiver, pan and spatula, plus wiping the appliance. Automatic washing is therefore not a claim of maintenance-free or unattended whole-kitchen operation. Confirm ingredient staging, additions, plating and changeovers during a recipe trial.
Equipment and integration
The English specification block lists a 700 × 700 × 1,320 mm appliance with three-phase 200 V power and 8.5 kW consumption. These published specifications are not confirmation of an export configuration. The Japanese FAQ additionally calls for water and drainage, wired internet and extraction; ask for the installation drawing and required clearances for the exact model.
The broader range includes P-Robo pasta automation and W-Robo tableware sorting and storage. Their functions and performance figures should not be assigned to I-Robo 2. Likewise, do not merge predecessor I-Robo specifications into the current model.
Deployment evidence
In its 9 June 2026 announcement, TechMagic reported I-Robo 2 installation at Ramen Kagetsu Arashi's DECKS Tokyo Beach restaurant. The outlet opened on 21 May 2026 and offers fried rice and stir-fried dishes. The announcement date and restaurant opening date are not a verified installation date. This is manufacturer-reported deployment evidence, not an independently measured productivity or financial result.
International procurement and contact
Use the official English enquiry form for product or partnership questions. No enquiry has been sent by this site. The example email and telephone text inside that form are placeholders, not supplier contact details.
A December 2025 corporate update described preparations for overseas sales. Hong Kong supply, destination certifications, installation coverage, warranty support, prices and lead times remain unverified. An English website alone does not establish local availability.
Request a trial using the actual dishes, portions and service schedule.
Confirm every operator task, cleaning step and food-changeover procedure.
Verify destination electrical, plumbing and extraction requirements.
Ask which installation, recipe software, training, spare parts and support costs the quotation includes.
These are editorial evaluation questions, not promised features. Read the kitchen automation guide and prepare an RFQ brief before approaching a supplier.
