How to Use This Site as a Buyer
A short suggested sequence.
Sequence
- Define the task and the measurable requirement.
- Read the category guide for the application, not just the category name.
- Shortlist companies by category and region, then check the verification level of each profile.
- Write the RFQ using the acceptance criteria and cost lines described in the guides.
- Compare offers with a five-year cost model rather than a purchase price.
What to bring to a supplier
A one-page brief: task, part, site conditions, target figures and budget range. Suppliers respond to briefs far more usefully than to general enquiries.
