FANUC Robotics: Factory Automation and Intelligent Production
FANUC develops industrial robots, collaborative robots and factory automation systems for production environments. Confirm model, payload, safety, integration and local support before procurement.
Company and regional presence
FANUC supplies factory-automation and robotics technology. This profile uses FANUC Europe's official product and company information to support international supplier research. FANUC Europe identifies its regional headquarters in Luxembourg, with administrative and manufacturing-centre functions in Echternach and a logistics centre in Contern. This regional address should not be mistaken for the global headquarters of FANUC Corporation.
CRX collaborative robot range
The CRX Series page lists CRX-3iA, CRX-5iA, CRX-10iA, CRX-10iA/L, CRX-20iA/L and CRX-30iA. Published payloads span 3–30 kg, with reach figures from 692 to 1,756 mm. Some models have food-grade variants; verify the exact variant, materials and application documentation required for the intended process.
Example models and controls
The CRX-10iA product page specifies a 10 kg payload, 1,249 mm reach and six axes. The smaller CRX-3iA page lists a 3 kg payload, 692 mm reach and 11 kg robot weight. These examples are reference points for model selection, not equivalent configurations.
FANUC describes tablet-style drag-and-drop programming, manual-guided teaching, force sensing and compatible end-of-arm tooling for the CRX family. Tool selection and process validation remain part of the finished installation.
Questions for an international buyer
What payload remains after the gripper, cables and process equipment are included?
Does the reach and mounting arrangement cover the entire task without limiting cycle time?
Which controller, electrical supply, programming tools and peripheral interfaces are required?
Who performs commissioning, operator training and the completed-cell risk assessment?
Which local service team supplies spare parts, and what response times are contracted?
For food or cleanroom work, which exact model and supporting documents are applicable?
Commercial and operating limits
The CRX series advertises a long maintenance-free operating period. Treat that as a manufacturer claim whose conditions, inspection duties and warranty terms need confirmation; it does not remove maintenance responsibilities for grippers or other cell equipment.
Request current pricing, lead time, availability and acceptance tests for your region. A collaborative robot still needs an application-specific safety assessment. Prepare a robotics RFQ brief or browse Industrial & Collaborative Robots.
