Collaborative Robot Standards: What Still Applies
Collaboration is an operating mode, not an exemption from risk assessment.
Requirements that still apply

Practical controls
- Store safety parameters behind a lock or password and record every change.
- Re-validate after changing the end effector or the part.
- Keep the validation report with the machine documentation.
Limits and test methods come from the applicable standard and the robot manual. Follow both.
