Raising a Complaint During the Announcement Period
Follow the procedure; emotion does not change a result, evidence sometimes does.
The usual sequence
| Stage | Action |
|---|---|
| Raise | Submit a written objection with evidence inside the window |
| Acknowledge | The issuer registers the objection and responds in writing |
| Escalate | If the response is unsatisfactory, refer the matter to the supervisory body |
| Remedy | The issuer may pause, correct or re-run the evaluation |
Practical points
- Standing is usually limited to bidders and other interested parties.
- Repeating the same objection without new evidence is normally rejected.
- Keep the escalation within its own time limit and attach the documents.
- Record everything in the project file.
Procedural rules differ between issuers and jurisdictions. Check the tender documents first.
