Robot Exhibitions as a Signal vs an Event
A busy stand is not an order book.
Four things to observe
| Observation | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Launch density | Genuinely new models or minor revisions |
| Audience mix | Engineers, buyers or channel partners |
| Demo style | Running a real process or a looping animation |
| Supplier presence | Whether component makers attend alongside OEMs |
How to read the event
- Footfall depends on stand position and promotions, not only on market demand.
- Look for deliveries and pricing, not only specifications.
- Orders announced one to two months after the show say more than the show itself.
Exhibitions are useful for contacts and direction. Selection decisions still need on-site validation.
