Cleaning Robots Without Damaging Them
The wrong cleaning agent can damage housings and cables.
What to avoid

| Housings and pendant | Strong solvents, chlorinated cleaners or abrasive pastes |
| Cables and sleeves | Petrol or strong alkaline solutions |
| Guides and screws | Lubricants not approved by the manufacturer |
| Inside the cabinet | Compressed air that drives dust into connectors |
Recommended practice
- Wipe with a soft cloth and a neutral cleaner, then dry.
- Isolate power before cleaning and confirm it cannot restart.
- Restore the guideway surface film with the approved lubricant afterwards.
Surface finishes differ between manufacturers. Test on a hidden area first.
