Company Profile: NEURA Robotics — 4NE1 and Cognitive Robotics
A primary-source profile of NEURA's 4NE1 family, Neuraverse ecosystem, dated demonstrations and the reservation and procurement boundaries for humanoid projects.
Company and portfolio
NEURA Robotics GmbH is based in Metzingen, Germany and develops cognitive robotics products. Its catalog includes industrial arms, mobile platforms, MiPA and the 4NE1 humanoid family. This profile concentrates on 4NE1 and its development ecosystem. A successful application using another NEURA product does not by itself establish that a humanoid can perform the same work. NEURA portfolio; Company contact and location.
4NE1 and distinct models
The 4NE1 product page describes humanoids intended for industrial work and everyday assistance, with sensing, multimodal AI and remote-operation features. It also introduces 4NE1 Mini for research, education and entertainment and describes variants for different operating environments. These are different proposals within a family; they should not be combined into a single specification or availability statement. 4NE1 family description.
The reservation page specifically identifies 4NE1 Gen 3.5 and lists manipulation, transport and multimodal interaction as intended uses. It describes integrated hands, networking, software interfaces and teleoperation access. Buyers should request the exact model revision, included application software and validated task scope. Product positioning is not evidence that arbitrary household or factory tasks are ready without integration. Gen 3.5 reservation specification.
Neuraverse and training
NEURA describes Neuraverse as a platform connecting robots, people and data, with orchestration, digital twins and application development. Its NEURA Gym facilities are described as places to train robots on physical tasks and validate models before customer deployment. These are the supplier's ecosystem descriptions; buyers need to establish what software, connectivity and training services their individual agreement actually includes. Neuraverse and NEURA Gym.
For an enterprise evaluation, clarify where task data and video are processed, whether models learn from customer operations, how access is controlled, and what functions remain available offline. Agree how a new task is taught, tested and released, and who approves model changes before they affect a production process.
Dated public demonstration
NEURA's March 16, 2026 report describes 4NE1 Mini participating in VfB Stuttgart's Innovation Match Day on March 15. Reported activities included handing over a microphone and carrying the match ball onto the pitch. This is a specific public interaction demonstration. It does not establish sustained commercial service, unrestricted autonomy or the readiness of the larger Gen 3.5 robot for the same environment. March 2026 stadium account.
On September 7, 2026, NEURA and SECO announced cooperation on electronic compute modules for cognitive robots, including 4NE1, supporting planned scaling of production in Europe. The announcement describes development and industrialization work; it should not be counted as a customer deployment or an installed humanoid fleet. September 2026 SECO partnership.
Availability and reservation boundary
The Gen 3.5 reservation page says availability is expected at the end of 2026 and allows for design refinements before release. Its reservation process concerns a position in the delivery queue, while industrial or commercial quantities are directed to a contact form. A reservation is therefore different from a confirmed shipment or an accepted production installation. Confirm the current delivery schedule and final purchase agreement before planning operational dependence. Published reservation conditions.
International procurement contact
The official contact page separates private and business inquiries. For an international project, identify the destination, exact robot family, application, volume and intended commissioning date. Ask NEURA to confirm the contracting entity, regional service coverage, installation responsibility and applicable documentation for that configuration. The contact route does not establish worldwide supply or approval. Official inquiry routes.
Questions for a commercial evaluation
Is the proposal for Gen 3.5, Mini or another 4NE1 configuration, and what is its delivery status?
Which tasks are demonstrated on the quoted hardware and software, with what supervision?
Are charging, tooling, training, cloud access and integration included?
What operating limits apply around people, stairs, objects and moving equipment?
Can a trial measure completed cycles, interventions, recovery and changes in performance over time?
What data rights, update controls and local support commitments will be written into the agreement?
Evidence limits and next steps
Reviewed September 10, 2026. This profile uses official product and reservation pages and dated NEURA announcements. Demonstrations, partnership plans and marketing descriptions are not independent certification or performance guarantees. Family-level claims should be checked against the delivered configuration and a defined acceptance test.
