Lead Time Benchmarks
Lead time is the first thing to move when demand shifts.
What to compare
| Item | Typical range |
|---|---|
| Standard robot | Weeks to a few months |
| Configured robot | Longer, driven by options |
| Integrator capacity | Often the real constraint |
| Tooling and fixtures | Design plus manufacturing time |
| Site works | Power, air and foundations |
How to plan
- Ask for lead time by line item, not as one number.
- Add buffer for site readiness, which you control.
- Reserve long-lead items before the contract is final if the schedule is tight.
Lead times are commercial information and change quickly. Get them in writing for your specific order.
