ZhilianhaiLubrication Schedules and Records
What to control
| Element | Practice |
|---|---|
| Approved lubricants | Only what the manufacturer specifies |
| Intervals | By operating hours, not calendar weeks |
| Quantity | Measured, not estimated |
| Records | Date, amount, product and who performed it |
| Disposal | Used grease and contaminated rags handled correctly |
What goes wrong
- Mixing incompatible greases degrades both.
- Over-greasing a gearbox can raise pressure and temperature.
- Missing records make warranty claims harder.
Use the lubricants and intervals in the manufacturer maintenance manual for your model.
