Most installation problems are prepared for, or not, before delivery.
What has to be ready

| Foundation | Level, load capacity and fixing method |
| Power | Capacity, protection and isolation point |
| Air | Pressure, flow and quality |
| Environment | Temperature, dust and humidity within specification |
| Access | Delivery route, lifting equipment and floor protection |
During installation
- Keep the site tidy; installation teams work faster in clean areas.
- Record deviations from the plan as they happen.
- Do not energise until the electrical checks are complete.
Site preparation requirements come from the equipment documentation and the integrator plan.
