Robot Cabling Basics
Cables are the least considered and most frequently blamed part of a cell.
What to get right

| Routing | Follow the dress pack or a defined path |
| Bend radius | Respect the minimum for every cable |
| Anchoring | Fix before connectors, allowing a service loop |
| Separation | Keep power away from signal cables |
| Protection | Sleeves at edges and pass-throughs |
Maintenance points
- Inspect the wrist area most often; it flexes the most.
- Look for chafing, hardening and repaired joints.
- Replace cables as a set when they run together.
Random faults are often cable faults. Check cabling before changing control parameters.
